The 7th Annual Meeting on High Performance Computing and Infrastructure in NorwayNOTUR2009 - Poster PresentationThe organization committee of NOTUR2009 invites master- and doctoral students who are using computationally and data intensive applications to present a poster at the NOTUR2009 meeting. NOTUR 2009 is the eighth annual meeting on High Performance Computing organized by the Notur consortium. This year the meeting will be held May 18-20, 2009 at NTNU, Trondheim. Students who would like to present a poster must submit an abstract in PDF-format by email to Bjørn Lindi (bjorn.lindi@ntnu.no). The abstract should include title, author(s), affiliation(s), and a description (1-2 pages A4) of the work that will be presented. The description should summarize the objective of the work, the problem definition, the scientific approach (or solution method), results, and indicate the use of a computational infrastructure for tackling the problem. The abstract and poster must be in English. Submission deadline for the poster abstract is May 8. People that have submitted an abstract will be notified about acceptance by email no later than May 11. For a limited number of students that will present a poster at the meeting, the organization will cover travel expenses (Economy Class round-trip ticket from your home city, and 1-2 nights in a hotel in Trondheim). If you would like to apply for this, please specify this in the email together with the abstract. The poster should fit within an area given of approximately 1188 x 840 mm (A0 format). At the meeting, the posters will be evaluated by a committee on:
