Large scale digital long term preservation at the National Library of Norway

As more and more of the information in society is represented digitally, The National Library of Norway has to change it's preservation and access strategies. All commonly used digital representations are supposed to be preserved in a 1000-year perspective, and yet being continously accessible to the user community. The National Library of Norway meets the challenges through NBdigital, the digital national library. Digital based legal deposit, digitisation, network based services and digital preservation strategies are being developed continously to meet the changes in the information and knowledge processes.
