eNORIA: Workshop on eScience in Higher Education, Uppsala, 7 October 2008

In the framework of NORIA, NordForsk is funding a project on eScience, The Nordic eScience Initiative. Project participants represent the Academy of Finland, the Danish Natural Science Research Council, the Research Council of Norway, RANNIS and the Swedish Research Council.

One of the working group activities is to work toward a pan-Nordic programme in higher education (Master- and PhD-level) on eScience.

To learn from other experiences and to discuss eScience in higher education, the working group plans to have a workshop on this matter on October 7, 2008 in Uppsala, Sweden. The timeframe of the workshop is from 10:00 to 16:00. The workshop is free of charge, but participants are expected to cover their own travel costs.
