Snehvit has two shared-memory nodes, each with 16 Itanium2 (64-bit) processors. The nodes are interconnected with Gigabit Ethernet.
Snehvit is suited for parallel MPI and OpenMP jobs with up to 16 processors.
NOTE: snehvit was taken out of the Notur system on September 30, 2006. If you need access to this system, contact the support staff at NTNU (support-ntnu@notur.no).
